- The 47th Contracting Flight at Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB), Texas will be requesting quotations for delivery and installation/replacement of 3 each 100' long x 80' wide x 33' deep @ 48' high hydraulic dock leveler at Building 77. The removal and disposal (off of Laughlin AFB) of existing dock leveler will also be required. The performance area is at the 47th Logistics Readiness Division (47 LRD), Bldg 77 loading docks. A Site Visit will be held if necessary on Thursday, 29 August 2013 at 2:00 PM CST. Those interested in attending must RSVP NLT 4:00 PM Tuesday, 27 August 2013. RSVPs will be taken by email listed below. NOTE THESE TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This proposed acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333999 and the size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation will be issued in the form of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps) Website at address: www.fbo.gov on or about 27 August 2013. No hard copies will be provided. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The closing date is tentatively scheduled for on or about 6 September 2013. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. SAM can be obtained through the Internet address: www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE).
