Product Listing 252.209-7997 Statement of Work Wage Determination Pass Request This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is advertised as a Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 337215, small business size standard, 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Requisition Number F2K2AF3135A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 effective 1 August 2013. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs A site visit has been scheduled for 20 August 2013, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (Mountain Standard Time) at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. All interested vendors must email 2nd Lt Phil Ofili, Contract Manager, of attendance with SFMIS Pass request (attached) by 19 August 2013 by 12:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time). Information provided at the site visit shall not qualify as terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. The Government intends to award one (1) contract with one (1) contract line item number: CLIN 0001, Weapons Storage System Specifications: Please See attached Product listing for shelving system and Statement of Work for installation QTY: 1 Unit of Issue: Lot Manufacturer: Space Saver OR EQUAL Desired Delivery Date Phase 1: 30 days ARO Desired Delivery Date Phase2: 45 days ARO FOB: Destination Inspection and Acceptance: Destination In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(a) (2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. Price will be considered before determining technical acceptability. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), offerors are notified that each may be required to provide documentation supporting the price, cost and/or cost realism supporting the quoted prices. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMB Circular A-76 competition performance decisions).
