- JOFOC The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors, (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 intends to issue a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with format of Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested in accordance with below Statement of Objectives. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990. This Solicitation Number BBG50-R-13-00143 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) that will result in a single award of a Firm Fixed Price contract term of one year using FAR Part 15 (Contract by Negotiation) procedures to provide for a Product and Project Management. The Dalet Digital Media Systems provides computer hardware, software licenses and support to VOA System Expansion and Audit. The required hardware, software and support were developed by Dalet. The proprietary and hardware and software is marketed and maintained solely by Dalet. Installation of products from other brand other than Dalet will introduce the possibility of system incompatibilities, which could result in corruption of data. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE FOLLOW-ON TO DALET DIGITAL MEDIA SYSTEMS FOR CLINET LICENSE, MEDIA CUTTER MODULE, ARCHIVE AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT, PROJECT INITIATION PHASE AND DETAILED DESIGN, INFRASTRUCTURE REVIEW, DESIGN AND ANALYSIS, INSTALLATION OF LAB AND LOAD TESTING, ONSITE UPGRADE, CONFIGURATION AND PREPARATION, ONSITE SUPPORT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT, SYSTEM MONITORING AND MAINTENANCE, AND TRAINING. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist at the email addres provided at the end of this notice. Please note that the deadline for submission of question by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on 20 August 2013. Questions must be submitted in writing by email to: dsturgis@bbg.gov. ( Answers to question will be posted in FBO). Submission of proposal must be received by Closing Date of 21 August 2013, by 12:00 pm Eastern Time. Proposal shall be submitted as a orginial and two copies must be sent via courier or postal services prior to the deadline.
