- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a need for Intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring services (IONM) for the Neurosurgery program at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center 508 Fulton St, Durham NC 27705. IONM services are key technical support for successful outcomes of complex brain and spinal cord procedures. Durham is the primary referral center for VISN6. This acquisition will be issued as full and open competition. A Firm-Fixed Requirements type contract with a one (1) year base period of performance with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year option periods which will be exercised at the Government's discretion are anticipated under this solicitation. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and (FAR) Part 15, Contracts by negotiation on or about August 15, 2013 via FEDBIZOPPS at www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the website for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. The expected performance period will be October 01, 2013 through September 30, 2014; with four option years (if exercised). The NACIS code is 621399. The size standard is $7 Million.
