- DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure the following Anchor Safety Shackles with shackle pin and nuts w/lock bolts (capscrew), cotter pin, lockwasher & two (2) each nuts per lockbolt for the following quantities, brand name or equal to Marquip Anchor Safety Shackles: Item One--14 each, 3' Marquip Anchor Safety Shackle, double-nut w/through holes; Item Two--12 each, 2-3/4' Marquip Anchor Safety shackle, double-nut w/though holes; and, Item Three four (4) each, 2-1/4' Marquip Anchor Safety Shackle, single-nut w/through hole. Test certification paperwork must accompany each shackle upon delivery. The shackles will be used for miscellaneous barge repairs. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial RFQ in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The applicable NAICS Code is 332510. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Immediate Maintenance Facility, Bremerton, WA. The requirement will utilize single award, technically acceptable evaluation. Offers wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-13-Q-0422. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download 19 August 2013. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 29 August 2013 at 2:00PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
