- Description
- GFO Demo 2013 Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, Colorado State Office, Lakewood, Colorado has a requirement for the GFO Demo 2013 project, located in Gunnison and Hinsdale County, Colorado. The Work consists of the following: Furnish labor, rubber tired equipment, and materials, for the removal and disposal of wood frame structures with metal roofs foundation blocks and contents, and general trash and other waste. In addition, the Contractor shall furnish labor equipment and materials for the construction of protective barbed wire fence around historical structures, and to backfill a buried water tank. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications and drawings. The solicitation shall be set aside for 8 (a). NAICS code is 238910, (Site Preparation Contractors); size standard is $14 million. Estimated period of performance is 36 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information related to the potential availability of other sources that can fulfill this requirement must be received by the POC listed below no later than 2PM Mountain Time (Colorado) Wednesday, August 26, 2013, at fsalazar@blm.gov.
