Updated SOW Map. Site Visit Information. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial service in accordance with performance work statement dated 20130611: CLIN 0001: Mowing of Tennyson/Bronte Drop Zone (174 acres) no more than 8 times per fiscal year (1 Oct 13 to 30 Sep 14) in accordance with attached performance work statement. CLIN 0002: Grading and repair of roads at Tennyson/Bronte Drop Zone no more than 6 times per fiscal year (1 Oct 13 to 30 Sep 14) in accordance with attached performance work statement. CLIN 0003: Drop Zone boundary fence inspections and minor repairs, no more than 4 times per fiscal year (1 Oct 13 to 30 Sep 14) in accordance with attached performance work statement. CLIN 1001: Mowing of Tennyson/Bronte Drop Zone (174 acres) no more than 8 times per fiscal year (1 Oct 14 to 30 Sep 15) in accordance with attached performance work statement. CLIN 4003: Drop Zone boundary fence inspections and minor repairs, no more than 4 times per fiscal year (1 Oct 17 to 30 Sep 18) in accordance with attached performance work statement. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F1RT4A3137A001. Quotes will be evaluated and an award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price technically acceptable. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) IAW FAR 52.204-7. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUISINESS SET-ASIDE. North American Industrial Classification Standard 561730, applies to this procurement. Period of Performance is 1 Oct 13 though 30 Sep 14 with 4 option years running through 30 Sep 18. The provisions that apply to this solicitation are as follows: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The offeror must include a completed copy of these provisions with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options, applies to this solicitation. The clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, applies to this solicitation. 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds, "Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer." All questions pertaining to this requirement must be submitted and received no later than 2:00 p.m. (CST), 22 August 2013. A site visit will be held on Thursday August 22nd at 9:30 AM (CST). It is MANDATORY that you RSVP to come to the site visit. Please see attached site visit information sheet for more information. An updated map has been added as an additional attachment. This map replaces the map that is currently in the SOW. The updated map more accurately depicts what needs to be mowed.
