Description
The Southern Regional Contracting Office (SRCO), Fort Hood Cell, intends to issue a solicitation for an unclassified supply contract for Radio Pharmaceuticals for the Nuclear Medicine Service of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. This requirement is for a period of performance from 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2018 (Base & 4 Option Periods). Pylori.001100 Offeror must be able to provide the aggregate of all required Radio Pharmaceuticals. Required timeline: Radio Pharmaceuticals shall need to be delivered to Nuclear Medicine Service of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas within two hours of notification of required Radio Pharmaceutical. Required qualifications include: (1) All radionuclides provided shall be of the highest purity at the time of calibration for Government use. Radionuclides shall be free from cross contamination and other impurities. (2) 67Gallium Citrate, 99mTc04 MAG-3, 201Thallus Chloride, 99mTcSetamibi, & 99mTcBicisate at the time of delivery shall be isotonic, sterile, & non-pyrogenic. These radionuclides are for diagnostic use and shall have the ability to be introduced intravenously. (3) 123Iodine & 131Iodine Capsule shall, at the time of calibration, be free from impurities. They shall have the ability to be administered orally for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. (4) 133Xenon Gas shall be supplied in the form of a gas and shall have the ability to be administered by inhalation for lung ventilation studies. (5) Delivery of all radionuclides in shall, on the delivery date specified in the delivery order, be delivered to the Nuclear Medicine Service, Building 36000, Room 1953, no later than 0700 and 1000 and 1500 hours unless otherwise specified in the delivery order. (6) Received dose activity must be within 5% of the calibrated dose activity. All isotopes shall be calibrated for specified times day of delivery. (7) USP Chapter less than 797 greater than - Radiopharmaceuticals are to be compounded according to USP chapter 797 as required. The pharmacy must be compliant with ongoing changes and keeping up to date with requirements imposed by USP Chapter less than 797 greater than. Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote represents the best value to the government as outlined in the attached solicitation including all unexercised options and not solely on price and price related factors. In making the award decision, the Contracting Officer shall consider the evaluated rating of all factors. All responsible sources shall be considered. The proposed acquisition shall be a small business set-aside. This solicitation package shall be available on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on or about 16 August 2013.
