- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends procure the additional services from Lux Research, Inc. under the previously awarded action, NSFDACS12P1151. Lux Research will update additional data from its April 2011 report, "Nanotechnology Funding: Companies Grab the Reins", as well as update the estimates for revenues generated by Nano-enabled products. Lux Research, Inc. will also be responsible for updating the estimates for private funding of nanotechnology, Nano-enabled products by industry and government funding of nanotechnology. Lux Research, Inc. is the only company that can supply this breadth of detailed information required to be updated, because they prepared the report that is to be updated. The period of performance for the additional services is the date of award through December 31, 2013. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
