- NIH intends to make a sole-source procurement award for parking services located at 5601 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland 20852. This pre-solicitation is published for information purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. The source is Parklawn North Lot LLC. The company is located at 4445 Willard Avenue, Suite 400, Chevy Chase, Maryland 20815. This facility will be utilized full time 24/7 in support of NIH/Government Employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation may be considered by the agency. The National Institute of Health (NIH) has a requirement for 1100 supplemental parking spaces located at 5601 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland 20852. NIH has a GSA fifteen year lease with Parklawn North Lot LLC (#GS-11B-02310). The lease specifies that the government may purchase up to 660 parking spaces in the on-site structured parking garage and up to 440 parking spaces in the on-site surface parking lot. The agency contemplates awarding a contract with one base year and four option years to PMI for lease parking spaces. The period of performance shall be as follows: Base Year: October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014. Option Year 1: October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015 Option Year 2: October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 Option Year 3: October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017 Option Year 4: October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018 AUTHORITY: FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No other sources are found capable of providing the necessary services.
