Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Services for Laundry Linen Solicitation Number: VA250-13-I-0737 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency based on proprietary issues and compatibility requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Reino Linen Service, 119 S. Main St. Gibsonburg, OH 43431. The Period of Performance estimated would be from 10/1/2013 through 12/31/2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
