- The VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements with STERIS for Servicing the Caviwave Sonic Console20 Gallon System. This requirement will include the following characteristics: "Planned maintenance service - 2 Annual Inspections "Comprehensive Coverage Type "Select Choice Agreement Product "Replacement of parts (not including disposables & accessories) Salient Characteristics All equipment shall be maintained in proper operating condition as specified by the manufacturer. Vendor must have proven access to original equipment, manufacturers (OEM) parts manuals and schematics to perform the service in an effort to minimize risk. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than July 10 2013, C.O.B. Responses should be sent to Harold.Nice@va.gov. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
