- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Asheville, North Carolina 28805, will be soliciting proposals for Medical Physics Services. The contractor shall provide all materials and supplies necessary to complete each item. A request for proposal, VA246-13-R-2093, will be issued on or about August 19, 2013. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2013 (or date of award) through September 30, 2014 for the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options to be exercised in the best interest of the Government. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 541690 with a size standard of $14.0 Million.
