Description

Amendment 0004 is available for download at www.fbo.gov. The general contractors selected to participate in Phase II have been announced in Amendment 0004. This project is a Design/Build Project. The project consists of Design and Construction of a 3-story, 296 Person Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) barracks at Ft. Campbell, KY that is consistent with the architectural theme of the adjacent Battalion Headquarters Complex facilities. Provide fire protection, suppression and alarm systems and AT/FP measures. Supporting facilities include utilities, lighting, parking, walks, Low Impact Development (LID) storm water management systems, and storm drainage. Provisions for persons with disabilities will be provided. Building will be of permanent construction with a total gross square footage (SF) not to exceed 110,876. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD), Energy Savings features, Department of Defense (DoD) Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings, building information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, and connection to energy monitoring and control system (EMCS) are required. Strict compliance with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver requirements also applies.
