Description
Solicitation Attachments Solicitation The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, intends to acquire by contract, construction improvements to the water and electrical systems at the Pine Creek Information Center. Work includes the following: construct new water lines, replace a portion of the existing overhead power distribution system with an underground distribution system, replace portions of the overhead power distribution system with new, and replace the water system's control cable. The Pine Creek Information Center (also known as the Pine Creek Work Center) is located on the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest at the east end of Swift Reservoir approximately 47 miles east of Woodland, Washington on Hwy 503/503 Spur/Forest Road 90. This project will be solicited as a Total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 237130 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The solicitation for this project will be made available on this website on August 15, 2013 with proposals due on September 13, 2013. Proposals will be evaluated base on price, past performance, experience, technical approach, and other factors. The estimated cost of construction for the base item on this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All responsible sources meeting the set-aside requirement may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. Prospective contractors, must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
