- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This procurement is being set aside 100% for Small Business. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for one (1) Variable Transformer. Any additional specifications for this item will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. The required delivery of this item is 45 days after date of award. The purchase order will be awarded on a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis using policies and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 335311 with a size standard of 500 employees. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation Request For Quote (RFQ) N65540-13-T-5191, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ (click on Business Opportunities) and http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors), at least 15 days after posting of this notice.
