- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Lexes Associates, Inc. for the creation of a database of H-60 part numbers, special tooling and special test equipment (ST/STE), manufacturing and property management information from government provided data, and format and load this data into the Government electronic Tooling Information Management Systems (eTIMS) database. Lexes is the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) required administrator of the eTIMS database and as such is the only authorized supplier able to access, modify and manage it. The period of performance is anticipated to be six (6) months from the date of contract award. Lexes Associates, Inc. is the sole designer, developer, and manager of the eTIMS database and as such is the only firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services and is uniquely qualified to fulfill the Government's requirements within current budget and time constraints. Therefore, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
