- Project: Construct SCIF, Bldg 874. The work covered under this project shall be performed on Homestead ARB, FL, and shall consist of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements needed to perform all operations in connection with the work associated in a Design-Build project to construct a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) for the 2nd floor of building 874 for the Florida Air National Guard (FANG). The acquisition shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type contract to the bidder. This requirement will be set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) offerors only. The North American Industry Classification is 236220 with size standard of $33.5 million. The magnitude of construction threshold is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Period of Performance for this requirement is 190 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The period of performance for the design phase is 100 calendar days and the construction phase is 90 calendar days. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to the time of award. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about 22 Jul 13. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted on this website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) and all prospective offerors are responsible to visit this site frequently to obtain this or any other information pertinent to this acquisition. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. Pre-bid site visit will be held on or about 4 Aug 13 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, FL. Site visit time and location will be stated in the solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored and bidder lists will not be maintained.
