- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Salisbury, North Carolina is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources to provide exercise equipment at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury North Carolina, 28144. A. General Requirements: The contractor to provide exercise equipment to be used for the Veterans Rehabilitation and Wellness Program at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury North Carolina, 28144. The contractor shall provide exercise equipment to be used primarily by Physical Therapists and Kinesiotherapists. Physical Therapists use these equipment as part of or in combination of other modalities to provide therapeutic interventions for patients whose ability to function is impaired by diseases, injuries or other causes. Kinesiotherapists use this equipment as part of their application of exercise principles to restore strength, endurance and mobility to patients with functional limitations. The equipment must meet the needs of patients and staff members and must be suitable for rehabilitation of several groups and wellness life style programs. B. Period of Performance: Contractual period of performance is from 09/01/2013 - 08/31/2014. C. Option Years: N/A D. Additional Information: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 45110, Size Standard: 500 Employees and the Classification code is 7830. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
