AMENDMENT 0001: See attached documents: 1. Site-visit Attendees (1 page) 2. Questions and Answers (1 page) The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistics Service Area-ASO, College Park, GA, is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) # DTFAEN-13-R-00062 as a Request for Offer (RFO) for facility improvements for the removal and replacement of the existing roof of the FAA National Airspace System Coordination Office Building at 299 Woosley Rd., Hampton, GA, 30228 as detailed in the Specifications and Drawings attached to the Solicitation in accordance with the Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.2 Policy as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238160, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $14 million average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $50,000 and $100,000. This posting is best viewed at FAA Contract Opportunities, https://faaco.faa.gov. No individual notification of any amendments will be provided. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. All questions shall be addressed to the Contracting Officer in writing. Any questions regarding this SIR/RFO must be received three (3) days prior to the date set aside for offers due. All correspondences shall contain the SIR # in the subject line. Site Visit The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A one-time site visit will be conducted on 27 June 2013 at 9:30 AM (EST) at the FAA National Airspace System Coordination Office Bldg. at 299 Woosley Rd., Hampton, GA, 30228. Please contact Linda Hennequant at linda.hennequant@faa.gov with a list of attendees at least one day prior to the appointed time. Information provided at this site visit as well as answers to questions shall not change/qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. ATTENDANCE AT THIS SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Please see Part IV “ Section L - INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS, for complete offer submission requirements. All offers must be submitted NO LATER THAN 11 July 2013, 3:00 PM (EST). Any responses received after this date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, śLate Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. ť If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor will responses be received after 11 July 2013, 3:00 PM (EST). This requirement is reserved exclusively for competition among socially and economically disadvantaged business [SEDB/(8(a))] vendors, pursuant to AMS policy 3.6.1.3.4. Offers will be evaluated using criteria described in Section M of the SIR. Technical combined with Past Performance and Experience is significantly more important that price. However, due to funding constraints price is still an important factor. Please see Part IV “ Section M - EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD, for complete evaluation factors for this requirement. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the solicitation process.
