- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Sole Source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1) and FAR 8.405-6 to procure water, electricity, and sewer service for our Albany, GA field service office. The order will be issued to the Albany Water, Gas, and Light Commission, 207 Pine Avenue, Albany, GA 31701-2530. Base on the location of service, and the regulated nature of this service, no other vendors are able to provide this service to the field office location. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 22122. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing by e-mail address to Shannon Anthony at Shannon.d.anthony@usace.army.mil. Responses should be submitted no later than July 16, 2013 at 2:00pm (EST).
