- This Notice is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive proposals. The Government Printing Office (GPO) intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with MMAR 6.302-1 to Hewlett Packard to lease, deliver, installation, training and maintenance for the HP 7600 Indigo Digital Offset Press. This Indigo press is the only certified G7 digital offset liquid ink press on the market; that has an offset cylinder and a rubber printing blanket that uses a liquid oil and pigmented ink to deliver precise ink transfer carrying 1-2 microns of ink to the substrate. This press will enable GPO's Congressional and Ofice of Federal Register printing operations achieve a high quality standard for color printing and improve processes and technology to ensure that solutions are scalable, available, cost-effective and secure. This requirement will be classified NAICS 333244. No solicitation document is available. Interested persons may respond to this requirement by 10:a.m. Eastern Standard Time, July 26, 2013.
