- The Kiowa Warrior Product Management Office (KW PMO) has identified a potential need for replacement of the 5x7 quote mark and 6x8 quote mark multifunction displays on the OH-58D and OH-58F due to obsolescence. PM KW is seeking information from industry that will assist in the development and fielding of a capability that enables the OH-58D/F platform to meet its MFD requirements. The replacement should ideally be non-developmental, plug and play with the current OH-58D and OH-58F architecture, and provide increased capability. PM KW is seeking information on MFDs that provide onboard processing capability that can support both internal and external computing tasks as well as monitor type MFDs that solely display information provided directly from other computing sources such as mission computers, sensors etc. If non-developmental solutions are not available, information on COTS solutions and what developmental changes would be required to meet specification requirements is requested. If the interested party already submitted a response to this announcement (in the December/January timeframe), nothing has changed and no further response is needed.
