- Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to the evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will be available to download from this website on or about July 9, 2013. Description: Services for chainsaw thinning, slashing, hand piling and covering of trees and dead surface limbs. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on the project. Location: Hat Creek Ranger District on the Lassen National Forest. Set-Aside: This project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002. NO LATER than 3:00pm PST on the date indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
