The contractor must provide all management, supervision, manpower, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided by the Government); and plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of vehicle barriers. The contractor must also provide a one-time site inspection/evaluation of each barrier and gate, preventive maintenance on each barrier and gate identified by the USMS on a schedule, repairs to barriers and gates, training to on-site personnel, and monthly/annual reports. The Government intends to award one nationwide contract resulting in a fixed-price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ), Time & Materials (T&M)/Labor Hour (LH) contract with a one-year base period and four one-year options. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. To be considered for award, the contractor is required to submit a proper and complete proposal. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through th is website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The USMS is issuing this solicitation as a small business set aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal. Proposals are due by noon, August 1, 2013 and questions are due by noon, July 18, 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310.
