- Description
- J&A Only the Hologic Rapid fFN test reagents are compatible with the current in-house equipment and therefore are the only reagent which can meet the Government's need. The laboratory currently uses this system and has already established rigorously validated SOP's and proven diagnostic accuracy with Providers and accrediting agencies. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing for full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as cited in FAR 6.302-1(a) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
