- This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All questions regarding this notice should be emailed by COB 15 July 2013. Capability statements will be due by COB on Friday, 19 July 2013 to the points of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 7th Signal Command (Theater) is looking for capability statements for a non-personal Information Technology (IT) support for the Agent of Certification Authority (ACA). The requirement provides Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP) validation support which includes supporting the Government in conducting validation preparation activities (onsite staff assistance visits (SAVs) and other validation activities), performing security test and evaluation engineering support and generating DIACAP scorecards. Should DIACAP regulations change, the use of the most recent guidance will be used to accomplish validation support. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS code is 541512, Computer Systems Design Services, and the size standard is $25.5 Million (Not to exceed). If you believe a different NAICS code should be used please identify the proposed NAICS code and provide justification. The anticipated period of performance is for a 12 month base period with two (2) option years.
