- Description
- Solicitation for NSN 1560-01-256-2446 Skin, Aircraft. Configuration Control applies. A technical data package is available and may be obtained for use in developing a source approval request (SAR) for engineering source approval. Currently the only approved sources for this item are CAGE 29957 - NORDAM GROUP, INC., CAGE 81755 - LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION, CAGE 5H716 - PCA AEROSPACE, INC., CAGE 32500 - EDO CORPORATION, CAGE 1XKR3 - AEROSPACE & COMMERICAL, CAGE 9U679 - CPI AEROSTRUCTURES, INC., and CAGE 0WTG1 - APPLIED COMPOSITES ENGINEERING INC. This is a Partial Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation will result in the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a 1 year base period and 4 option years. The estimated annual demand is 60 units. This solicitation has a First Article / Pre-production approval required by government testing. First article sample size is one (1) each. This is a Critical Safety Item. The required delivery schedule is 292 DARO for delivery of First article units, and 292 DAFAA for delivery of production units. FOB is Destination, Inspection/Acceptance is Origin. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
