- Description
- The Portland District Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm fixed price contract for John Day BLH Turbine Hub Upgrade Kits. This project includes the following: Preparation of drawings and data. Fabrication, NDT inspection, and machining of all steel parts. Fabrication of the small link bushings and inner and outer blade bushings, machining the ID's of these bushings to pre-self-lubricating coating dimensions, shipping to manufacturer of self-lubricating coating for the coating, and then shipping to the Contractor's shop for final inspection. Fabrication of the other bushings with a machining allowance. Providing new standard fasteners, gaskets, round packing, etc. Providing other parts and materials as necessary. The Contractor is responsible for the shipment of all internal hub components to the John Day and Lower Granite projects after machining. Three sets shall be supplied to the John Day Project and one set shall be supplied to the Lower Granite Project (Optional). This solicitation will be procured as a Request for Quotations with 5 evaluation factors including price. This solicitation will be available for download on or about 26 July 2013 with quotes due approximately 30 days after issue. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332721. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
