- Additional questions have been received, the Government's response follows. 1. Do you prefer that separate prices be submitted for Cultural Survey and the site reevaluation tasks? Such a breakout is allowable but unnecessary. 2. Are all sites to be reevaluated located in the mapped survey areas? If not are the sites close to the proposed survey area? The site are near the mapped survey areas and in a separate unit that is within the same general area as the survey. 3. The survey areas appear to be carefully drawn to exclude steep slopes, thereby including relatively level surfaces that typically have higher site densities. Is the Forest Archaeologist aware of unrecorded/undocumented sites in these areas? And if so how many are there? There are no known unrecorded/undocumented sites within these areas. 4. Do we apply for special use permits before or after the contract award? Contractors that do not currently have a permit should apply immediately. Information is available on request. No guarantee is made or implied that award would be held if a permit isn't obtained by time of award.
