- Description
- The Air Force intends to solicit proposals for a firm-fixed price contract for the Inspection, Testing, Repair and Maintenance of Lifting Devices at Torii Station, Naha Port, Kuwae Tank Farm #1 & 2, Chimuwan Tank Farm #1, 2 & 3, White Beach and Fort Buckner The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor/manpower, and appropriate license(s) / qualification(s) necessary to perform inspections, testing, maintenance, evaluation and certification for all non-mobile cranes/hoists and car lifts. The performance period is for one (1) basic year and four (4) one-year options. The applicable NAICS code is 811310. This is a competitive acquisition which will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation. This solicitation will be distributed solely on the Internet at the following address beginning on or after 22 July 2013: https://www.fbo.gov/. Closing date of this solicitation will be 30 calendar days after the issue date. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE MAILED FOR ANY REASON. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced website. A list of all registered prospective offerors will be available at this site as well. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract and does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach. This notice does not obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
