- Description
- The U.S. Army Reserves currently has a requirement for Refuse/ Recycling Services at the Brookville Memorial (USARC) located in Brookville, PA; at the Blommen-Russell (USARC) located in Dubois, PA; at the PFC Melvin L. Brown (USARC)/BMA 106(G) located in Clearfield, PA; and at the MAJ Charles D. Stoops (USARC) located in Punxsutawney, PA. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, safety equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to collect and dispose of Refuse and Recyclables. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be 1-August-2013 to 31-July-2014 with 4 option years. This requirement will be set aside 100% for small businesses utilizing NAICS 562111 (Solid Waste Collection). The small business size standard for this NAICS is $35.5M. A solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about 26-June-2013 with an anticipated award date of 31-July-2013. Simplified acquisition procedure found at FAR part 13 will be utilized for this requirement. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer is the lowest price that is found to be technically acceptable. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAMs) found at https://www.sam.gov. Representations and certifications must also be completed before award and can be done so at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Payments for the resulting contract will be made through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Contractors can register for WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
