Description

The Talladega National Forest, Shoal Creek Ranger District in the National Forests in Alabama has requirement for road paving. The contractor is to provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools and other incidentals and execute all work necessary to perform road resurfacing. This project includes hardening of the road trail crossing on NFST 522, resurfacing approximately 2 miles of NFSR 553 (with associated subgrade repair) as well as signage and culvert replacement. All work to be accomplished is located within the boundaries of the National Forests in Alabama, specifically the Shoal Creek Ranger District. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation is expected to be posted around Jul 11, 2013 on this website. The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunity website at http://www.fbo.gov for status of solicitation and amendments, if any. All interested parties must be registered with the System for award management (www.sam.gov).
