While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government has a requirement for the refurbishment of two Launcher Test Vehicles (LTVs). The requirements are for hazardous paint removal, surface preparation and primer/paint coating of the LTV ™s and components. This work will be performed at NSWC Crane. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled to be held on or around 27 August 2013 at NSWC Crane. Additional information and details about the conference will be available in the solicitation package. The period of performance is 125 days after contract award. This contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. This solicitation will be issued under the Test Program in FAR 13.5 and will use commercial procedures. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government, considering past performance and price related factors. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the technical package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 08 August 2013 and expected to close on or about 25 September 2013. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS classification is 562910. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the two websites listed above. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. When the solicitation is available, all responsible parties may submit a proposal for this procurement which will be considered by the Government.
