- Clauses Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority in FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VII of the Federal Acquisition Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number NB647000-13-04139 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The requested delivery date is 8 weeks ARO. The NAICS classification is 424690. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to procure a Gel Documentation System. The following clauses and provisions apply to this solicitation and are provided in full text, please see attached: 52.211-6 Brand name or Equal 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items Interested vendors capable of furnishing the specified equipment in this combined synposis/solicitation should submit their quote in writing to: T. Marks, Purchasing Agent at tpm1@nist.gov. FAX AND OR PHONE REQUESTS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Requests shall include complete company name, address, telephone and fax number.
