- The Bureau of Land Management, Hanksville, UT intends to issue a Request for Proposal to award a single, firm fixed price contract for construction services at the Hog Springs Rest Area approximately 37 miles SE of Hanksville, UT in Garfield County, UT. The work to be done will consist of: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to construct curb and gutter, sidewalk, masonry wall, bridge structure, and other wayside improvements. The project will also consist of demolition of an existing bridge, sidewalk, parking barrier, misc. concrete structures, concrete toilet vault, hand rail, & misc. items. A full solicitation package will be issued to the public on or about July 26, 2013 and vendors who wish to receive information and updates on the requirement should register their interest at www.Fedconnect.net. Proposals and Quotes will be due back to the Contracting Officer on or about August 26, 2013. This requirement is a Total HubZone Set-Aside and it will be required that a vendor is a certified HubZone Vendor in order to have proposals considered. The magnitude of this requirement is estmated between $100,000 and $250,000. This requirement will be issued under NAICS 238910 with a small business size standard of 14.0 Million and will be issued as a HUB ZONE set aside.
