- This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PZIA is seeking potential sources to provide high speed microwave pin switches meeting the following criteria: High Speed Microwave PIN Switches should be able to meet the following specifications: Frequency range: 18 to 40 GHz, (DC to 40 GHz acceptable but not required) Insertion loss: 6.8 dB maximum Isolation: 50 dB minimum Switch Type: Absorptive VSWR: 2.2:1 Rise/Fall time: 5 ns or better Control: TTL high = on state Logic Port: SMC or SMA (F) connector RF Connectors: 2.92 mm or "K" type (F) Frequency range: 2 to 18 GHz Insertion Loss: 3.0 dB maximum Switch Type: Absorptive Isolation: 60dB minimum VSWR: 2.2:1 Rise/Fall Time: 5ns or better Control: TTL High = on state Logic port: SMC or SMA (F) connector RF Connectors: SMA (F) Switch: Should have the ability for high speed turn on and off and low video transient The most important characteristic is rise and fall. Firms responding to this announcement shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and should include company name, DUNS number, cage code, point of contact, address and business size using NAICS Code 334515, Size Standard 100 employees. Respondents may include Statement of Capabilities (SOC), limited to 2 pages, and demonstration of experience in supplying or manufacturing products meeting the specifications listed.
