THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THIS IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This information will be used for market research and analysis to determine what capabilities currently exist. This notice should NOT be construed as a request for proposal or any obligation on the part of the U.S. Government. No award will be made from this announcement. No telephone calls and/or request for solicitation information will be accepted or acknowledged. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the item(s) below: - Logical and Physical Analyzer Software Upgrade/Maintenance and Support for CelleBrite Universal Extraction Devices (UFED) for a period of one (1) year. Potential offeror's having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capabilities statement shall not exceed ten (10) pages and must include the following: 1) Company Name and Point of Contact Information (address, telephone, email, website, etc.) 2) DUNS and Cage Code 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.) 4) Information regarding any Government contracts that they may hold (Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), General Services Administration (GSA) multiple awards schedule (MAS), etc.) that may satisfy this potential requirement 5) Familiarity and knowledge of this requirements Responses are due no later than 8:00 AM EDT, Monday, 01 July 2013 and shall be sent via email to John Fields at john.w.fields.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. A response to this synopsis is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Response to this synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of this synopsis, nor pay for information provided in response to this synopsis.
