- Award Notification: UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT: This is a PRE-SOLICITION NOTICE ONLY. This solicitation is anticipated to issue as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. Bids received in response to this solicitation shall be handled in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14. The solicitation will issue on or about 26 April 2013, and the anticipated bid opening date is 28 May 2013. The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. NAICS CODE: 237990. The proposed structure and improvements under this contract include constructing approximately 4,300 LF of three (3) 84 quote mark cement lined steel pipes connecting the completed SELA 07a - HPTR North Discharge Tubes to the SELA 07c - HPTR Discharge Structure. Site work will include construction of and/or modifications to existing utilities, concrete construction, pile driving, roadway construction, dewatering systems, temporary cofferdams, and installation of 84 quote mark steel pipe. Miscellaneous excavation, demolition and clearing shall also be performed. Equipment to be used in construction includes cranes, pile driving equipment, backhoes, dump trucks, concrete trucks, and general roadway construction equipment. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
