- The 434th Contracting Squadron, Grissom ARB, Indiana is soliciting quotes for the purchase on a commercial Firm-Fixed Price contract for 12 MultiRAE Gas Detectors and associated accessories. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition circular (FAC) 2005-16 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20070212. Description of commodity: MultiRAEs (the monitor) O2/LEL/10.6ev PID for fuel cell applicatons, H2S, CO, Li-ion battery, wireless, 12EA, Brand name or equal PC communication cable (to download data from monitor) Integraded charging system (to charge monitor) Alkaline battery adapter ( so unit can be charged outside of case) Toolkit with Hex tool and Philips screwdriver (needed to open case) Monitor sensor cap removal tool (to change out filters) Spare external filters (if filters contact fuel they have to be changed out) 6" flexi probe with inlet adapter (ability to get tank reading without having to physically enter space) Quick start guide (instructions) CD with documentation ( track tank readings) ProRAE Studio ll Instrument Configuration and Data Management Software ( Tank readings Tracking), Brand name or equal Calibration and test certificate (required to PMEL equipment) Remote Sample Draw kit P/N: 008-3015-200- (Data can be remotely downloaded), Brand name or equal Pelican 1560 case with custom foam and lid organizer, 3EA (case that all components are stored in), Brand name or equal Demand flow regulators (used with calibration gases), 2EA Cal Gas -116L ecosmart 2 gas mix (calibration gas), Brand name or equal Coiled Teflon tubing with quick disconnect fitting for pass-thru charging (required to charge and calibrate monitor) Shipping through TMO for Special Hazmat and delivery of these items is F.O.B. 7029 Tanker St., Grissom ARB, IN. Final inspection will be at Grissom ARB, IN. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 334519, with number of employees not to exceed 500. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. Please provide quote in just one (1) CLIN for all the items in this solicitation. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered and are current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration can be accomplished online at: (https://www.sam.gov/). In addition, each offeror shall ensure their registration on the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) website: ( https://www.sam.gov/). Contractor MUST be registered in CCR and ORCA under the NAICS code for this solicitation to be considered for award. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote represents the best value to the government based upon price and delivery. If "or equal" provide product literature for evaluation All responses must be received no later than 9:00 A.M., Eastern Standard Time on 12 July 2013. The quote is at the discretion of the offeror.
