- This modification is to provide information regarding a site visit to estimate the work to be performed under the solicitation posted with this notice. The site visit will take place at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on Tuesday July 2nd 2013. Attendees must submit the attached Local Visitor Request Form via email no later than 1530 local time on Friday, June 28th to nicholas.bartolomei@navy.mil. Attendees are to supply their own hard hats, eye protection, and safety toe shoes in order to enter the warehouse sections covered in the solicitation. No photos are to be taken of any of the areas of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, including the areas of the site visit. Please do not bring photographic equipment. Attendees are requested to arrive at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Pass and ID Office by 0800 for in processing on Tuesday July 02, 2013. Please bring a valid form of Government issued photo ID (i.e. drivers license or military ID) as well as a copy of the Local Visitor Request Form which was submitted to the email address above in order to prove your identity. The site visit will begin around 0900 and should take no more than 2hrs to complete. If there are any questions, please email the POC listed below. This will be the only site visit available for this effort.
