- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-12-G-0008 with Insitu Inc., 118 E. Columbia River Way, Bingen WA, for efforts required to support Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM); Failure Modes, Effect, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA); Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS); Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM); and Technical Data Package (TDP) updates for the RQ-21A weapon system. The estimated total value of the contract action is $700K. Insitu, is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the RQ-21A. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). There are no commitments by the government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract modification for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted. Numbered Note 22 applies.
