- *******ATTENTION*******ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Rebekah Massey, Contract Specialist, email: rebekah.j.massey@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted.*************** This requirement is for the purchase of 143 additional ARC-201D radios (National Stock Number 5821-01-423-8827) in support of Product Manager Aviation Maintenance Equipment (PM AME) under contract W58RGZ-13-C-0018. This requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition and negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This acquisition is restricted to ITT Exelis, Inc., Cage Code 31550, since the ARC-201D is the only fully qualified SINCGARS capable radio that can meet the Government's required delivery schedule for the installation on the UH-60M and CH-47F aircraft. The radios are required to be delivered within ten months after contract award. Given the schedule constraints and ensuring aircraft coming off the production lines are combat ready, there is not enough time to use another radio in lieu of the ARC-201D. No solicitation is available for issuance and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This synopsis closes on 11 July 2013 at 12:00 noon CST.
