- Justification and Approval (J&A) Request for Quote (RFQ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. See attached J&A justifying this as a brand name requirement. The solicitation number for this requirement is HTC711-13-Q-D046 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65 dated 29 January 2013. This requirement is being solicited open market to all small and large business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing. See Attachment 1, Request for Quote (RFQ), for the list of contract line items numbers for pricing and selection criteria. The purpose of this requirement is to provide Hewlett Packard, Cisco and Juniper Hardware replacement products. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The award will be made based on Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. Delivery date: NLT 30 days after contract award. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. Proposals will be received orally or electronically no later than 3:00pm, Central Time, Friday, 5 July 2013. (Your E-mail submission must be checked and determined to be "virus-free" prior to submission.) The Government requires your quote remain valid for 60 calendar days from date of submission.
