- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION (THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION) The United States Military Academy (USMA), Directorate of Contracting, West Point, New York, is seeking sources that are able to provide professional maintenance and service, hereafter referred to as quote mark Full Customer Support Plan quote mark of USMA Chemistry Spectroscopy devices. The components covered by the quote mark Full Customer Support Plan quote mark are described, below. 1. Four JASCO Spectroscopy Instruments, Model Number: FTIR 4100 2. Four JASCO Sample hold devices, Model Number: ATR PRO450 3. The Period Of Performance (POP) is for one year: 01 July 2013 to 30 June 2013. The Full Customer Support Plan shall also include the following: All repair parts, labor and travel costs One on-site Preventive Maintenance visit per year Discounted IQ/OQ service (if performed at same time as PM) One free Customer training class at JASCO facilities (minus travel, meals, lodging) Unlimited phone support for technical and application issues At least a five percent discount on consumable parts purchases. These scientific discovery instruments are highly sensitive and must be serviced only by certified, fully-trained, factory-authorized personnel. In addition, services will be performed on the USMA property and as such, your technicians must be able to pass a security screening process. All parties that wish to express their interest will need to provide JASCO certification proving that they are trained and authorized to perform service on the specific equipment listed, above and include this documentation as part of your submission. All interested parties that believe they are capable of meeting or exceeding this package of required services should forward their capabilities statement in writing to harold.mcnurlan@usma.edu. To express your interest and capabilities, you will need to provide the following information: 1. JASCO service certification. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to identify those businesses that are capable of providing this customer-identified service solution.
