- NSN Data_Synopsis Attachment The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five (5) years. This acquisition is for a Corporate IQC that will provide DLA Direct (stock) coverage for Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) including Alaska, Hawaii, and our possessions. The IQC will consist of a three year base period and two one year option periods. Prices will be fixed and adjusted annually by a fixed percentage. If there are responses from more than one approved source Reverse Auctioning may be utilized. These items are for engines and fall under Producer Price Index 1179-06 - Engine electrical Equipment. This acquisition will be issued as unrestricted, using other than full and open competition with a limited number of sources, citing authority 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Each of the four (4) NSNs will be evaluated on an "All or None" basis per NSN. The NSNs support the various Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. A list of the NSNs along with their part numbers, descriptions, and annual demand quantities are listed in the attachment. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
