- SET ASIDE: 100% HUBZone NAICS: 561730 Size - $7,000,000.00 TYPE OF SOLICITATION: Solicitation W912P8-13-T-0085 is a Request for Quotation TYPE OF ANNOUNCEMENT: This synopsis and solicitation for commercial services is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12. The solicitation and all other pertinent information pertaining to this requirement will be attached to this notice. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The successful contractor shall provide all resources necessary to ensure mowing and grounds maintenance is performed in a manner that maintains healthy grass and a safe environment. The work is located in the Indian Bayou Area, which is located in the St. Landry and St. Martin Parishes in Louisiana. The contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to effectively and efficiently accomplish the requirements of the solicitation Scope of Work (SOW) in a timely manner and in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the services performed. The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices as set forth in the solicitation. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base period (12 Month) and four Option Periods (12 month ea) METHOD OF EVALUATION: Award will be made to the lowest price (total for base and all option periods) responsible contractor. Contractors should pay close attention to section 52.212-1 of the solicitation entitled -Instructions To Offerors - for submission instructions. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management(SAM)in order to receive a Government contract. Registration is at http://www.sam.gov. QUOTATION DUE DATE: The price quotation due date is 10 July 2013, 2:00pm CT. Price quotations may be emailed to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer mentioned below.
