- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project No. ZNRE 13-1064, Repair Gas Cooling Chamber Rooms at B1526 (the Incinerator), Yokota Air Base, Japan. The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility. Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Design and repair two existing gas cooling chamber rooms #1 and #2. Existing bricks at cooling chamber room #1 are loose and ready to fall out. Existing bricks at cooling chamber room #2 have already fallen down and the operation of this chamber has stopped. The exact location of construction area shall be in accordance with the annual inspection report 2012 by the incinerator manufacture. The contractor will be required to provide a one year construction warranty. The magnitude of this project is expected between Y41,201,750 and Y82,403,500, in accordance with FAR 36.204 (f), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit is scheduled on 14 Jun 13 at 1330 hours, JST. *Offirors are urged and expected to attend the site visit. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 1300 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper ORIGINAL insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base. LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.
