- provisions and clauses RFQ FBO The Quantum Information and Terahertz Technology and Quantum Sensors project requires a semi-hermetically sealed scroll pump that will be used in a closed-loop helium-3 circulation system for cryogenic cooling. The scroll compressor will be used in cryorefrigerators to cool detectors to cryogenic temperatures for NIST funded and externally funded projects. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The unit must be oil-free 2. Sealed so that no helium-3 will leak out 3. Consume <50 watts 4. Size: less than 20cm x 20cm x 30cm 5. Weight < 4kg 6. Max pumping speed, 20 liters per minute 7. Inlet pressure < 10mbar 8. Outlet Pressure, 2 Bar 9. References to previous customers with similar requirements to verify past performance and capabilities. DELIVERABLE SCHEDULE: 10-12 weeks after placement of order FOB
