- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The US Department of Labor (USDOL) Bureau of International Labor Affairs' (ILAB) requires the services of a Contractor to provide Emergency Medical Evacuation services to USDOL employees on international travel. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on a competitive basis, reserved 100% small business set-aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13 will be utilized. The services to be acquired have been determined commercial in nature. This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), pursuant to FAR 13.303. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 624230, Emergency and Other Relief Services, (size standard $30M). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about June 13, 2013 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in SAM may do so by calling 1-866-606-8220 or by visiting the Federal Service Desk (FSD) for SAM at http://www.fsd.gov. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
